Debra Valencia, a visionary artist, designer and entrepreneur with a passion for world travel, artisan traditions and popular genres, has branded a modern style uniquely her own. Her signature look is artistic, lively, vibrant, colorful, vivid and imaginative. She is inspired by craftsman of cultures from all over the world, including textile arts and architectural ornamentation, as well as pop art, fashion and everything vintage.

Debra Valencia™ brand fashion-forward patterns have endless applications in stationery, gift, craft and home décor. The artist is working with manufacturers in paper products, social expression, textiles, home fashions, tabletop, gift, craft and hobby, accessories and jewelry. Debra’s expertise in branding, product and packaging design, as well as understanding consumer trends makes her a key resource in providing strategic direction for product line development to manufacturers. Her contemporary but classic designs have timeless style and universal appeal, opening up new markets and the ability to launch innovative new products for licensees.

Inspired by her grandmother, a fine artist, Debra has always had a passion for the arts starting in childhood with drawing, painting, sewing and many handicrafts. She earned a BFA from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She worked as a graphic designer with several leading firms before striking out on her own launching her surface design career. Debra’s husband is a avid marathon runner, poet and business man. Her son is currently a sophomore majoring in Illustration. Debra lives in Malibu, California.
